Shipping & Pickup

Items purchased during the auction via live in-person bidding, in-house absentee bids, telephone bids & online at Clars Live! are available for payment and pick up immediately.

Items purchased online via Live Auctioneers or Invaluable are available for payment and pickup beginning 9AM the day after they are purchased. If you are not picking up during that auction, our hours for pick-up are Monday–Friday, 9AM–5PM.

Please note that buyers with out-of-state addresses who pick up in person must pay California sales tax.

Shipping must be arranged with a third party and at the buyer’s cost. Please contact one of the shippers listed below, or any shipper of your choice, for an auction shipping quote prior to bidding. They will need the lot number, short description of the lot, approximate selling price, amount of product and size and your shipping address. They will need to pick up, pack and ship your items to you at our offices or storage locations.

Clars Wines / Clars Auction Gallery does not ship any wine purchased at auction. Clars Wines / Clars Auction Gallery shall have no liability or obligation for shipping or transporting any Property and further makes no representation, and assumes no obligation, with respect to the legality of shipping or transporting any Property, including alcoholic beverage products, into any jurisdiction. Please check your local state rules and guidelines in advance of the auction. Clars Wines / Clars Auction Gallery does not assume any obligation or bear any responsibility whatsoever for applying for or obtaining any required permit(s) or license(s) for the shipping and transporting of any Property. Any loss or damages resulting from the shipping or transport of Property will be the sole responsibility and at the risk of Buyer. Clars Wines / Clars Auction Gallery will not responsible for any deterioration, damage, or loss to Property during transport process and packing and handling of Property by anyone, including HDH, is entirely at Buyer’s risk.
